Mitch Olsen

Hello!
My name is Mitch Olsen, I am a current Public Health graduate student at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT. In May 2024 I graduated from Sacred Heart with my Bachelors in Exercise Science as well as minors in Psychology and Nutrition. I also have been working as a Graduate Assistant in Sacred Heart's Employee Wellness Department gaining valuable experience researching and writing monthly newsletters, creating and hosting lunch and learn presentations, creating and implementing personal health programs, running exercise classes, etc. In May 2025 I will be graduating with my Masters in Public Health and while my formal schooling will be done, my time for learning is no where near its end. I look forward to learning more about the road to health and happiness every single day through my own experiences and insights, my relationships with others, and the independent research skills I grew through my time at Sacred Heart. My interests and passions spread far past what my education shows, my formal education lead me down various rabbit holes and my curiosity ran with many of these concepts. For example, my understanding of the intricate anatomy and physiology within the body lead me to better understand the world around me. The shapes, patterns, and cycles within the body can be seen all throughout nature, because we are not separate from it, we are it. This fundamental idea has reshaped my life, allowed me to see and feel connection within everything around me, helped me reframe my mind, and fueled me to push my body to its maximum potential. I pray that I am given the opportunity to listen to everyone's story, truly see them for who they are and what they want, and assist them in seeing and following the path they truly dream of.
