My name is Caroline McQueen and I am a health and wellness coach. I have a Bachelor's degree from the University of Kansas in Community Health and a Master's degree in Integrative Health and Wellness from Creighton University.
I hold a certification in Lifestyle Medicine and I am currently still working towards my certification to become a certified health and wellness coach. My areas of focus are any topic related to diet, exercise, sleep, stress, tobacco and alcohol.
I became a health coach because I have always have had an interest in being active, eating healthy and I want to share that with others. I believe as a health coach that it is important to establish trust and rapport with each of my clients and to let them know that everything is confidential that we discuss. At the start of the coaching relationship I lead my clients through a baseline health assessment and take the opportunity to get to know more about their health history with each lifestyle behavior. From there I explore their desire, ability, reason and need for change and help them create goals toward their desired outcomes with each lifestyle behavior.
