I am a passionate and dedicated Yogi & obtained my 200-hour Yoga teacher certification in the magical town of Ubud in Bali, Indonesia. The Yoga School I attended is the House of Om, which offers an immersive 3 week experience. I am a registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance.
Born and raised in Johnstown, Pennsylvania in the US, I have always had a deep connection to nature, movement, and a strong desire to help others improve their well-being through the mind, body, and soul. Throughout my 28 years of life, I have learned the importance of mindfulness, self-care, and compassion in both my personal life and now in teaching Yoga.
I am grateful for the opportunity to continue learning and growing as both a student and teacher, and I look forward to inspiring and empowering others on their own mindfulness and Yoga journeys.
The style of Yoga I mostly offer is beginner friendly and based upon the mind-body connection. I offer a slow, gentle flow practice, so the student can really feel the connection of movement with their breath and mind. I believe a slower practice is truly beneficial in helping to improve alignment and focus on how it feels to move the body in certain asanas/positions.
I have taught Yoga in various different spaces, including my local YMCA, a fitness/spin studio, and a Yoga studio. I have also hosted collaborative events with another healer, where students experienced a Yoga class - along with sound healing, breathwork, meditation and reiki.
I also currently offer weekly virtual meditations. Every Monday I host a 15 minute meditation session for anyone who would like to join. I focus on breathwork and mindfulness, using different breathing techniques (pranayama), mantras, visualizations, etc.
I also have two Bachelor's Degrees in Biology and Environmental Studies, which I believe truly shows my versatility and well-rounded knowledge.
