Dr. Megan Collins, OTR/L, CPT

Hello and welcome! My name is Dr. Megan Collins and I am delighted that you have chosen to check out my profile further. At first glance, you will learn that I am an occupational therapist and a personal trainer. By having this dual background, I possess a distinctive skillset which allows me to have a profound impact on one's health and wellness. Moreover, it is a testimony to my genuine passion for helping others and caring about their overall well-being.

Qualifications:
-Doctorate of Occupational Therapy, Belmont University
-BS in Movement and Sports Sciences, Purdue University
-Certified Personal Trainer, National Academy of Sports Medicine
-Former D1 Track & Field Athlete, Purdue University
-CPR/AED and First Aid Certification, American Red Cross

As a clinical occupational therapist, I have practiced in hospital and subacute settings as well as outpatient rehabilitation. Much of my experience has involved the evaluation and treatment of musculoskeletal and neurological hand to shoulder injuries and diagnoses. As an OT, I offer a holistic perspective to restore function and promote quality of life following injury or illness. Additionally, I am a personal trainer and a proud military spouse which has given me and my family the unique opportunity to live in Japan. While stationed overseas, I have been able to provide personal training services to military members and their families. In doing so, I have worked with a diverse group of individuals and developed specific fitness programs to meet the demands of the military lifestyle.

And so, without hesitation, I invite you to schedule a session with me. I am confident that there is a topic in my repertoire of sessions that will benefit you and support your personal goals. I can't wait to work with you!

Warm regards,
~Megan
