Trauma Recovery Coaching for Life After Coercive Control
This is trauma recovery coaching for people rebuilding after coercive control, a high-control group, or a relationship that ran on manipulation. The work centers on what happened to your judgment, your sense of reality, and your trust in yourself while you were inside that environment, and on how to rebuild those after you leave. You do not need to have the full story in words yet. Many people arrive knowing something was wrong long before they can name the pattern. Part of the work is naming it.
Who This Coaching Is For
This coaching fits you if you are:
- Leaving or recovering from a high-control group, cult, or coercive religious or political organization
- Exiting a coercive or abusive relationship and rebuilding your independence
- Recognizing manipulation, gaslighting, or narcissistic abuse in your past and trying to understand how it shaped you
- Out of the situation but still second-guessing your own perception, decisions, and memory
- Carrying the sense that your judgment was turned against you and wanting it back
How Trauma Recovery Coaching Works
The approach is practical and structured. We look at the specific tactics that were used on you, how they shaped your decisions, and where they still influence how you read situations and people today. Coercive environments work by overriding your orientation, the internal compass you use to interpret events and decide what to do. When that compass is hijacked over months or years, it does not reset on its own once you leave. Recovery is the deliberate work of rebuilding it.
In session, we map the mechanics of what happened to you. Seeing the pattern clearly is what restores your ability to trust your own read again. From there, the work moves to practical ground: setting boundaries that hold, recognizing manipulation early, and making decisions from your own footing rather than from someone else's pressure or fear.
What Makes This Coaching Different
I hold an MA in Trauma Counseling and an MA in Intelligence, with professional training in statement analysis and the detection of deception and manipulation. While many other types of recovery support address how you feel about what happened, I will also address how it was done to you. I can help you reconstruct the exact methods of influence and control that were used, which is often the missing piece for people who know they were harmed but cannot yet explain the mechanism. Understanding the method is what makes the harm stop feeling like your fault.
We will also talk about how to move forward, how to gain positive traumatic growth, and how to prevent it from happening again. If you are looking for pure validation, I am not the right coach for you. But if you're ready to do the work and see real results, you're in the right place.
How We Work Together
Ongoing work happens in 50-minute one-on-one video sessions, booked individually. If you decide that you want to purchase a package once you feel comfortable and are seeing results, I offer discounts so you can focus on the sustained work. We set a pace that fits what you are working through rather than a fixed program you have to keep up with.
If you are deciding whether this is the right fit, start with a free discovery call. We talk through what you are facing, I explain how I work, and we decide together whether to continue. There is no pressure to book anything further.
