Intro to Healthy Eating with Alexandra

Are you tired of going from one diet to another? Are you looking for a way to maintain your weight loss goals and keep living your life?

This session is designed for you to incorporate healthy foods for without sacrificing eating out or banning your favorite treat.

If you are a healthy individual that has tried everything under the sun and nothing seems to stick, you are probably doing it wrong. I am here to tell you that it’s not your fault. I was in your place over ten years ago. Here are some of the things I tried and couldn’t sustain:
• Carrot diet
• Cottage cheese diet
• Potato diet
• Chewing diet (Fletcherism)

Needless to say, the new paleolithic and ketogenic seemed like a walk in the park. The truth is no fad diet is good for you. I will go over what to eat in this session, instead of covering this information, but if you ask me why, I will tell you why I don’t recommend these diets either.

After consuming media and hearing several anecdotes, I had a life changing experience. I took a class called: Biology of Aging. During this course I found nutrition fascinating and started my literature research on this very topic.

I found that when I consumed the right foods, I felt fuller for longer periods of time. I changed my lifestyle slowly, just like a weight loss journey. Instead of listening to anecdotes and media, I listened to experts and read scientific articles. Now, I am a Certified Wellness Practitioner and health educator.

To prepare for this session, please write in a sheet of paper or in a document what you normally eat in a day. If you can journal for a couple of days even better. This doesn’t require you to count calories or measure anything specifically, but it’s helpful to estimate how much you normally eat. Include your snacks and desserts too.

This session will not leave you with a specific meal plan that you have to follow to lose weight. It will help you identify how to eat healthier meals that promote longevity and keep you satisfied.
