Hello! My name is Tyler and I am an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach. What is integrative nutrition? We look at health beyond what is on your plate- your emotional, mental, spiritual, and physical health all impact your overall wellbeing. I believe in a holistic approach to wellness, and we examine all areas of your life to find what is working to support and nourish you, and what could use more focus.
You may have heard about the “Blue Zones” - areas in the world that have longer than average life spans and health spans. Unfortunately, we can’t all live in these locations, so what can we do to not only increase our life expectancy, but also increase the number of healthy years in our life?
A vast majority of your life expectancy is determined by your environment, not your genes. This is great news because it means we have the power to impact our long term health. Common trends in these Blue Zone communities include incorporating natural movement throughout your day, eating well, emphasizing connection, spirituality, and having a purpose throughout your whole life. A long, healthy life does not mean you are depriving yourself of food or killing yourself at the gym every day - it’s about bringing more joy, connection, and community into your life.
This session will walk you through actionable steps to emulate these area’s lifestyles in ways that are feasible for your life. We focus on adding in the healthy habits, which in turn crowd out the habits that do not serve you. Questions? Feel free to message me!
