Hello! I am Melissa, also known as @melilates. I am a Nutrition Coach and Pilates Instructor. I am very passionate about helping others reach their nutrition goals. For Nutrition Coaching, I recommend two sessions a month so that you are able to make optimal progress towards your health and wellness goals.
In the first session, we determine your current situation and define your goals. I have a form for you to fill out that will give me the basic data in order to best serve you. From there, each session will be to follow up on your progress, revise steps, answer further questions, and much more. I am certified through NASM (National Academy for Sports Medicine) and I use their framework to assess and work with my clients. This program, however, is completely personalized to each client based on their wants and needs.
In Nutrition Coaching, we discuss many topics such as calorie intake, portion sizes, food prepping, diet choices, macros, and much more. If you would like to adjust your habits to decrease chances of cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, and other diseases caused by lifestyle habits, I am also here to help you in that area. A few specialized topics I can coach you in are natural ways to lower cholesterol, how to chose the right protein powder for your goals, how to chose the right diet for your goals and your budget, how to stick to a nutrition plan, and the affect of ultraprocessed foods.
