Do you find yourself holding your breath or breathing shallowly? Most people on a day to day basis are not accessing their full capacity for breath. In this session we will explore the anatomy of breath and how invite breath deeper into the body.
Shallow breathing can affect our mood, stress, exercise capacity, and sleep. Finding a deeper capacity for breath can help to make you feel more awake, calmer, and more connected within yourself and to others.
Here are some reasons why or times when you may want to address your breath:
When you’re feeling exhausted
When you’re feeling far from yourself
When you’re feeling tense or stressed
When healing from an illness or injury
When you want more Mobility
When you want more Stability
When you want to connect or communicate with another person
