Loosen, lengthen & strengthen: Mobility with Lena

Join the program to loosen your muscles and joints, which strengthening the muscles that support those joints. Designed for individuals with arthritis, joint pain, or injury. Low impact strength routine to strengthen muscles that support us through activities of daily living. Functional exercises will include planks, hip bridges etc. Start of the session will be a mobility warmup of dynamic stretches which include faster paced stretching exercises to get the joint fluid moving. Then we will move into holding exercises to strengthen muscles, much like yoga. We will end with deeper and longer stretches to loosen the muscles and destress the body. Slow paced session which focuses on breathing and opening the mind and body. Heart rate will be kept at low intensity , below 120 for most. This program is designed to be done in sessions of 5 to ensure proper form and consistency in stretching the body to improve posture, hip mobility and decrease back pain. It is designed to help you feel rejuvenated and distressed after to energize your day!
