There's a reason why the gut is nicknamed the "second brain", or in my practice, "the mothership". It's the place in our bodies where the rubber meets the road for all elements of our health - whether the digestive process, absorption of nutrients (or not), how well we utilize those nutrients and convert them to valuable hormones & messengers (many done right there in the gut!), the role in effective elimination of toxins, mood/emotional balance, weight management,... the list goes on. It's most valuable to have a personal grasp on its role in our both the finer and broader aspects of our well being and how our choices and lifestyle influences it.

In this time together:

  • You will complete a mini Nutrition evaluation/questionnaire to help me understand your history and current conditions. (This info is important so I can identify where you are in your health journey and help me to navigate your path forward from that place.)
  • Our experience together includes a combination of
    • evaluation of your current health and gut health challenges
    • education on the incredible digestive process, its magic and its hang-ups
    • goal setting
    • health and lifestyle mapping toward those goals, with the primary motivation of helping your gut health
    • work together to develop and focus on your gut health / gut microbiome needs (diet & lifestyle adjustments, potential supplements)

What to expect in a meeting: -> Complete a mini Nutrition evaluation/questionnaire prior to session (please let me know if one has been completed in last 6 months in a separate session). -> I'll review your history and current conditions with you, especially in relation to Gut / Digestive health. ~ Identify Gut & Digestive challenges and intolerances with focus on root cause and adjustments. ~ Education and Guidance on Gut function / balance / imbalance / methods and practices (and supplements) to support re-balancing Gut environment and Gut Biome. ~ Learn the reason why Gut health is a priority and why it is called the "Second Brain". ~ Apply learnings to improved Lifestyle and Food choices/quality. ~ Plan for 60-75 minute virtual session.
