All of us have daily stress. Whether it is caused by working, raising kids, keeping up with the house, relationships or a combination of all, we need to find ways to deal with it in a healthy way.

Meditation is one way to target the stress. It involves taking some time out of the day to sit in a quiet place and put our thoughts of the day away temporarily. Meditation can be done in many ways including listening to videos, music, prayer, and/or journaling.

Another way to combat stress is to sleep. The body requires sleep for restoration and healing, and can affect our mood and stress levels. The most important part of sleep is getting quality sleep throughout the night. Otherwise, our bodies are left with less energy, less memory and a surge of hormones that can affect how we feel for that day.
