In my session, I will be discussing the need for physical activity, and also the benefits of it. Physical activity does not only include workout sessions, but also includes simple everyday movement such as taking stairs, walking the dog, gardening, etc. Without movement, our bodies become weak, our metabolic rate slows, and we are prone to many more illnesses and diseases.
Also, in my session, I will be discussing different types of exercises, along with duration, intensity, etc. Of course, the exercise types will vary depending on ages, injuries, and/or existing health issues. I will provide some different types of workouts that can help benefit each person as well. Lastly, I will discuss how exercise can benefit one not only physically, but mentally as well.
