Welcome! My name is Lauren and I'm an elder millennial with a history of struggling with body image, the idea that if you're resting - you're not being productive, prioritizing the needs and desires of others above my own, and the pressure to live by society's personal and professional standards. I'm now 40, married, and have a 5-year-old son.
Transitioning from being single, independent, and alone to being married and a part of a family unit was a great challenge for me. I still wanted to be fit and strong, have my me-time, and move up the professional ladder. But I slowly realized the routines and habits of my old life no longer fit this new one. Ater years of struggling with conflicting priorities and feeling stretched thin, I knew something had to change. I began to prioritize my own health and needs alongside those of my family and career, understanding that I can't pour from an empty cup.
As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), I've worked for 10 years using the science of behavior change to help others learn to live to their utmost potential. I also have 6 years of experience applying Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to further help my clients to handle the difficulties that come with changing what they do for their health and livelihood. Pair that with being a Precision Nutrition, Level 1 (Pn1) coach and a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT), I specialize in helping busy, driven moms in creating sustainable and personalized routines around diet, exercise and self-care that fits into their hectic lifestyles.
I partner with you to understand your unique goals, motivations, and environment, recognizing that true sustainable change happens when your journey is rooted in what truly matters to you.
Through expert guidance, personalized support, and evidence-based practices, I inspire and equip you to make mindful nutritional choices, enjoy physical activities, and take care of your emotional wellbeing to experience lasting changes and enjoy the journey along the way.
