Yanna Darilis is an ND, PhD, Certified Integrative Nutritionist, Lifestyle Medicine Coach, trained Cenegenics performance coach, specializing in plant-based diets, anti-aging, corrective nutrition and exercise programs. She is a transformer of health and longevity to achieve optimal health through the principles of the known "Father of Medicine", Hippocrates.

Dr. Darilis engages in a holistic approach to healing aligned with the principles of the Hippocratic medical tradition, emphasizing on treating the whole person rather than just the symptoms of a disease. Dr.Darilis uses a natural approach beyond prevention, she promotes optimal wellness and lifestyle medicine. Her approach aims to achieve an optimal state of physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Dr.Darilis is also an integrative corrective nutritionist and exercise specialist. Her passion for naturopathy and search for knowledge was inspired by her personal battles with her gastrointestinal issues, that she help cure with her education and dedication to wellness and health through holistic methods. Dr.Darilis's extensive experience as a celebrity health, fitness host, integrative nutritionist and practicing alternative medicine, give her over 30 years’ experience in the health and wellness space.

Background:

Dr.Darilis was born and raised in New York, and hails from a Greek background. She began her career in her early 20s in sports & fitness as an educator, master trainer, and manager of various fitness centers. As an educator she was a Varsity & JV Basketball coach and Athletic Director, which brought her over to teach and coach in Athens, Greece, for the American Embassy's High School, ACS Athens.

During her time in Greece, she was headhunted to work on television as an on-camera talent, hosting exercise, fashion and beauty topics. She has been a contributing editor to Cosmopolitan magazine (Greece), authored articles for various TV Guides, and Greek newspapers. In 2005 she published the first exercise and nutrition book for Greece, titled “Love Your Body”, where she wrote about the Hippocrates mind -body and soul concept. Dr.Darilis enjoyed a long career as an on -camera talent /TV Host, and celebrity fitness personality for over a decade, working on the most popular morning shows, as a well as the first English language newscaster for the national Greek channel Antenna. She was the fitness segment host for the most popular morning shows, Proinos Cafes, on Antenna, Co-host of the Morning Show, Star Café on Star Channel, and the first English language magazine show, Hellenic Weekly, with focus on travel and Greek cuisine, on Hellenic Broadcast’s, ERT World.

Dr.Darilis had the honor to be chosen as the Master of Ceremonies for the 2004 Olympic Games opening and closing ceremonies, by the International Olympics Committee and the Athens Olympic Committee. She has worked for NBC Universal on the “Today Show” as a segment host for the 2004 Olympic Games coverage, and E Entertainment’s Tara Reid Reality Show. Dr.Darilis went on to Host "Mediterranean Blue" travel show aired on PBS and OTE History Channel, Greece. Dr.Darilis was the script writer and Voice Talent for the documentary series Origins of Medicine, for OTE History Channel.

Dr.Darilis has also organized and moderated various panels at the United Nations SRC, tackling issues on Environmental and Health topics, she has been a contributor to the huffingtonpost.com , thriveglobal.com, and Cyprus mail, writing various articles on health and travel. In 2023, Dr.Darilis was tapped to join the ABH Group of Athens, Greece, to help develop ZOE CLINIC, the first Bio-Regenerative Clinic, in Santorini Greece, as the Director of Wellness and Lifestyle Medicine. Dr.Darilis continued on to help develop the renown anti-aging program, Cenegenics, in Athens. She is an ambassador for the Institute of Integrative Nutrition and the International Hippocrates Foundation of Kos. She is a public speaker, and has been invited numerous times to teach about health and the mediterranean diet to students from around the globe as a visiting professor, and moderate panels on sustanability.
