Back in 2008, I was diagnosed with an auto-immune disease, Ulcerative Colitis, that many medical Drs. said not only would I never get rid of but that I would be on pharmaceuticals - that made me feel worse - for the rest of my life. I was unconvinced and decided that this was my life and they would not predict or determine my future! So... I drew a line in the sand and said that I would be the one to say how the rest of my life would be.

It was not an easy road and definitely not fast, but today, and for the last ten years, I no longer have any symptoms and never took their pharmaceuticals.

During this time, I learned how important lifestyle and diet are to our overall health. In fact, it's EVERYTHING!
