Hi! I'm Dr. Tomilyn Thornberry. I'm a chiropractor by trade with extensive knowledge and experience as a teacher and coach. I own and operate a concierge sports chiropractic practice and am happy to be able to extend my reach virtually to help women in perimenopause/menopause population transition feel supported and come up with a health and wellness plan that works for YOU!
I am a Certified Menopause Coaching Specialist and am also certified in Selective Functional Movement Assessment and Applied Kinesiology. I am a former Division I runner, a USATF certified running coach.
In addition to patient care, Dr. Thornberry provides educational instruction for female athletes and conducts speaking engagements on the topic of Relative Energy Deficiency Syndrome (RED-s)
Dr. Thornberry has worked with clients of all levels from professional to high school to weekend warriors. She has treated at numerous events including the USA Track & Field Olympic Trials, USATF Outdoor Track & Field Championships, World Indoor Track and Field Championships and at the headquarters for first responders during the 2018 California wildfires. She also completed a 6-month clinical rotation at the Veterans Affairs hospital in Martinez, CA, helping military men and women recover from injury and manage pain.
As a clinician and a coach, I value listening to and educating my clients in a way that promotes lasting lifestyle changes that resonate for each individual.
She believes that women in midlife and beyond not only deserve quality support to adapt their lfiestyle to their changing body and also to feel equipped to advocate for themselves in all healthcare settings.
