Melissa Randall– Nutritionist, Wellness Advocate, and Mother
I am a passionate nutritionist and dedicated mother, committed to empowering individuals and families to make informed, health-conscious decisions about their diets and lifestyles. With over 13 years of experience in the field of nutrition, I combine professional expertise with personal experience as a mother to provide a holistic, compassionate approach to wellness.
I hold a Bachelors degree in Nutrition from Stephen F. Austin State University. This academic journey also included specialized training in the hospital setting, food service management and in community public health. This solid educational foundation, coupled with years of hands-on experience, has enabled me to work with a diverse range of clients—helping individuals manage chronic conditions, optimize their nutrition for athletic performance, and foster healthier relationships with food.
I currently work in public health, under the division of the Texas Women, Infant and Children program, where I have been a key figure in promoting nutrition education, breastfeeding nutrition education, pregnancy and infant/ child health, along with creating customized meal plans. My practical approach focuses on providing clients with the tools and knowledge they need to nourish their bodies in a way that suits their unique needs, whether it's weight management, managing food allergies, or improving overall health.
When I am not in the public health setting working, I enjoy engaging with my two young daughters, ages 6 and 8, participating in church activities, being a dance and gymnastic mom, trying new recipes in the kitchen and spending quality time with family and friends.
