I started with the intentions of being a personal trainer but wanted to pursue an academic background to fully educate and assist all clients I work with. After receiving my bachelor's degree in Sport Medicine, Health & Human Performance, I began my professional career as an exercise specialist for Cleveland Clinic/Martin Health in Florida on the Treasure Coast. Through hard work and dedication, I became the supervisor of two of their outpatient physical therapy and fitness centers.
Working with clients between the ages of 12 to 93, with an average client of 65, typically coming off of physical therapy, I realized that the importance of having a strong mindset was the key to adhering to an exercise prescription. This led me to pursue my master's degree in Sport Psychology and other supporting certifications, making me a well-rounded Wellness Coach. Currently I serve as the active Director of Employee Wellness for one of Florida's public-school districts, servicing over 6000 employees towards their health and wellness goals.
