Utilizing these techniques allows a person to increase their experience of positive emotions, thoughts, and feelings while decreasing their experience of negative emotions and stress. Somatic Body Exercises are simple and easy to master while producing amazing results. Utilizing my knowledge and experience in Health, Wellness, and Psychology, I will teach you all the tools you need to master your somatic body, process bodily stress and emotions, and regulate your somatic systems for increased feelings of control and connection with yourself and the world around you.
Somatic Stretch & Movement sessions are low intensity and non-invasive allowing for participation at any experience and level. Classes combine self-stretching exercises and somatic techniques to exercise and relax the somatic body.
Session 1: We will lay the foundation for Somatic Stress & Movement Training. This is somatic coaching not therapy or trauma care. These exercises are non-invasive and low intensity designed to help you pro-actively manage your somatic self. We will discuss the fundamentals of using breathwork, stretching, mindfulness, posture, and movement to exercise and relax your somatic systems.
