Our session begins with you. I’ll invite you to share as much as you’re comfortable with about your daily routine, eating habits, and relationship with food. I might ask questions like: What does a typical day of eating look like for you? Are there times when food feels stressful or confusing? What’s working well for you right now?
This is a collaborative conversation. I believe you are the expert on your own life, and I’m here to help you uncover what you truly want from this journey. Maybe you want more energy, a better relationship with food, support with a health condition, or simply to feel good in your body. Whatever your goals, I’m here to help you clarify and achieve them.
Understanding Your Medical History
To provide you with the safest and most effective guidance, I’ll ask about your medical history. This includes any health conditions, allergies, medications, or relevant family history. If you’re managing something like diabetes, high blood pressure, or digestive issues, I’ll make sure our plan takes those into account. Everything you share is confidential and handled with care and respect.
Setting Realistic, Achievable Goals
Together, we’ll identify one or two realistic, actionable goals to focus on before our next session. These might be as simple as adding an extra serving of vegetables to your day, trying a new breakfast routine, or keeping a gentle food journal. My approach is all about small, sustainable changes that fit your lifestyle—not drastic overhauls. We’ll also talk through any potential challenges and brainstorm solutions together.
