LadyTeens Talk: Healthy Sexuality and Relationships with Beatrice

Girls need a place to talk and need to know they aren't alone. This is a teen girls' health group to address self-image and esteem, healthy sexuality, issues with perception and pornography, and developing healthy relationships. This is a MUST initiative. It provides teens with the guidance and support they need to navigate complex topics in a safe, respectful, and informed manner.

Purpose: A safe, open space for teens to explore how they feel about themselves and maintain positive sense of self, discuss healthy sexual development, the effects of pornography, and how to build positive, respectful relationships.
Goals:
1. Educate teens about sexual health and self-image.
2. Address the negative effects of pornography and offer alternatives.
3. Promote healthy relationships based on consent, respect, and communication.
4. Encourage self-love, body positivity, and emotional well-being.

Group Guidelines:
Confidentiality: Everything shared in the group remains confidential (unless there's a risk of harm).
Respect: Everyone’s views are respected, regardless of their background, experiences, or beliefs.
Non-judgmental: This is space where teens can share without fear of judgment or ridicule.
Active Listening: Group members listen to each other and engage thoughtfully.

Session Plan: Session 1: Introduction to Healthy Sexuality and Self-Image - Discuss how self-esteem and body image affect sexual health and relationships. - Explore what makes a positive, healthy relationship with yourself. - Activities: Self-reflection exercises (e.g., body-positive affirmations, journaling). -
