We have all eaten out of something other than hunger. For many of us, it is not the occasional extra burger at a BBQ or an ice cream sandwich at a baseball game.
It is eating out of the fridge after a bad day at work, having secret stashes of food and eating in secret.
I have been there, eating canned frosting out of the fridge due to my kids having a snow day. Having three different sizes of jeans in my closet as I never knew what size I was going to be. Working out like a fiend, but never losing the weight I wanted.
Can you imagine a lifetime of being food neutral? Not hating it, not fearing it, knowing it is necessary for survival and not thinking about what you ate the other day, as you are no longer beating yourself about food.
Together we will:
- Recognize the difference between physical and emotional hunger.
- Identify personal triggers and patterns of emotional eating. 3.Learn strategies to manage emotions without turning to food.
- Develop healthier eating habits and coping mechanisms.
In addition, stress eating, mindful eating, eating at night, triggers and weight loss and maintenance.
We will work together to find your Emotional Eating Solutions, help you find your natural weight and never get to the bottom of a bag and ask “who ate this”
