These workouts are based on functional movements of high intensity and short duration. These workouts will involve exercises that use multiple muscle groups, not necessarily muscle isolation. These WOD's, (Workout of the Day), will involve components such as, aerobic, weightlifting, and body weight movements. Some exercises that may be included are squats, deadlifts, push-ups, pull-ups, sprints and more. For those that may not have a lot time each day to exercise, these types of sessions work well. The goal is to improve overall physical fitness through constantly varied workouts that challenge strength, endurance, flexibility and coordination.
