Genetic tests can provide clinical insight, optimize health outcomes, and can help you to better understand your personal diet, lifestyle, and supplement requirements.
Epigenetics explains how changes in gene activity can occur without changing our actual DNA.
One way that we can influence gene activity is through the foods we eat. Food can be used as a genetic on and off switch to alter our weight, blood pressure, blood cholesterol, cancer growth, and even our chances of healthy aging. The impact of nutrition on our genes is often called nutrigenomics.
Gene testing can be used in prevention of diseases, so that we know which area of health to focus on.
The DUTCH test is a hormone test that measures the levels of steroid hormones (sex hormones) and adrenal hormones (cortisol & cortisone) in your body— along with several other markers responsible for hormone balance, brain function, and overall health.
The DUTCH Test is used primarily to detect hormone health—particularly looking for imbalances, signs of stress (“HPA-Axis Dysfunction” or “adrenal fatigue”) and neurotransmitter function (brain chemicals affected by hormones) in your body.
From PMS and amenorrhea (loss of period), to PCOS, hypothyroidism, metabolic dysfunction, blood sugar imbalances, IBS, constipation, gut “issues,” autoimmune disease, inflammation, chronic infections and more—the DUTCH Test is a great tool for helping you see a clear picture of whether or not your hormones are “in tune” (balanced) and how cortisol levels may be affecting a number of health conditions and symptoms.
What Is The GI MAP Test?
GI-MAP Test (GI Microbial assay plus) is a stool analysis test that uses qPCR technology to test a patient's stool sample to identify bacterial infections, parasites, viruses, fungi, beneficial bacteria and key intestinal health markers. This provides a more accurate picture of your gut health.
It has been the number one comprehensive stool test in the US for a while now to identify gut health issues. This stool test is approved by the FDA.
These tests are immensely helpful, if you need to look deeper into your health concerns.
The first session is 30min, where we'll discuss which tests are needed, and I will explain how these tests are done, when they are delivered to you.
The second session is a 1.5hr feedback on the test (this is just for one test), and recommendations what to do from there.
Nutritional advice is given.
This price doesn't include the test itself. The price depends on the quantity of tests required, and the labs that are used (local labs on your continent are used). Prices will be discussed in the first session.
If more than one test needs to be given feedback on, it will be $50 for an extra session.
