With office jobs and remote work being more prevalent than ever in today’s society, so is living a more sedentary lifestyle. Chronic pain associated with a sedentary lifestyle continues to affect the average person and reduces the quality of their life over time.
In these sessions, we will discuss what gradually happens to our bodies when we are in a fixed seated position for extended amounts of time. We will discuss how our bodies adapt to being in this fixed position and how it affects our physical and mental health.
After this, we will discuss ways to minimize and even reverse the effects of this lifestyle to reduce chronic pain and mental angst. This includes discussing not only short-term but-long term plans, including but not limited to: supplements, stretches, and exercises. The goal of these sessions is to improve your quality of life now and in the future.
