Research has shown that people who forgive their own mistakes and feel self-compassion when life is tough are more resilient and successful. This goes against many messages like "buck up," or telling ourselves to "get over it." Join me for an hour of personal discovery while learning Mindful Self Compassion meditation practices to meet you where you are at the moment. These techniques were developed by Dr. Kristin Neff and Dr. Chris Germer to help us access our positive inner coach, which is more motivating than a harsh inner critic. I am experienced in teaching the science behind this wide range of approaches.
