Shedding pounds and shrinking the belly fat are possible in midlife. The body is unique and has this innate wisdom and intelligence to release fat when you give it the right tools to do so.

Sudden weight gain in midlife is not because we've lost will power or we are eating too many calories. In fact, it's most often the ongoing calorie restriction and intense workouts that causes one to hold onto excess fat.

As a functional health and weight loss coach, I help midlife clients uncover the underlying reasons for their weight loss struggles, using a functional and holistic approach.

As a Certified Functional Diagnostic Nutrition© Practitioner, clients have access to functional lab testing, under the direction of a Medical Director Program, so help them delve deeper into the reasons behind their weight struggles.

What to expect in a meeting: During the initial 60 minute session, we will start with an assessment of your daily eating, exercise and sleep routine, plus navigate daily life stress(ors) that may be holding you back. We will then create a 6-week individualized plan for you based on your assessment and your own goals and desires. During the second and follow up 60 minute session, we will evaluate your progress, figure out what's working well and what are your challenges, and make adjustments where needed to help you move forward in your journey towards sustainable health building and weight loss. You will have the option to run functional lab tests as well, to help deepen the detective work and find other weight loss roadblocks.The goal of each session is for me as your coach to understand what may be behind your weight struggles, and for you as the client to come away feeling confident and empowered to jumpstart your midlife weight loss journey.
