I am a Certified Personal Trainer, Glute Specialist, avid back country hiker and Yoga Instructor. Together we will put together a thorough program for you for an up coming hiking trip or to build on your current program for hiking.
I will review where you are now and your goals. We will incorporate cardio, strength training and yoga all specifically for the hiker.
I have done the Appalachian trail, Pacific Crest trail, Superior Hiking Trail and backcountry hiking in Glacier, Grand Tetons and the John Muir Wilderness area.
What I learned is although I was in good physical condition my body was not prepared for certain physical aspects of hiking. I have taken my training to the trails and tested it myself. What I have put together I will tweak with your specific needs and goals in mind.
