Laura Roy, BS, MS, CNS, CPT, FNC

Hi, I'm Laura Roy—a passionate advocate for holistic health and the power of nutrition to transform lives. As a Board-Certified Nutrition Specialist, NASM-Certified Personal Trainer, Certified Functional Nutrition Counselor, and Nutrition Professor, I bring a rich blend of science, education, and personal experience to my practice.

With a Master’s Degree in Functional Medicine and Human Nutrition, a Bachelor’s of Science in Biochemistry, and over 12 years as an educator, I’ve built a strong foundation in both the chemistry of food and the art of teaching. Currently, I’m pursuing my PhD in Nutrition and Diet Therapy, focusing on the role of diet in inflammation and metabolic dysfunction—a passion fueled by my hands-on experience with clients.

In clinical practice for over four years, including 1,000 supervised hours under the guidance of Dr. Bryan Walsh, I’ve helped dozens of clients address a wide range of health challenges, including PCOS, autoimmunity, peri/postmenopause, obesity, metabolic syndrome, diabetes, hypertension, and more. My approach is rooted in functional medicine, which means I aim to uncover and address the root causes of my clients’ health concerns rather than merely managing symptoms.

Beyond my professional credentials, my personal health journey has shaped my practice. Being diagnosed with an autoimmune disease two years ago deepened my empathy and commitment to empowering others to reclaim their health. I understand firsthand the complexities of chronic conditions and the hope that comes with finding sustainable, science-backed solutions.

If you’re ready to take charge of your health, I’d love to guide you on your journey to feeling and living your best.
