I began my healthcare journey serving as a board certified and licensed athletic trainer in a NAIA university where I aided athletes in injury prevention and rehabilitation. This career was always a stepping stone for me to get into nutrition and dietetics. After exploring my options I learned about Naturopathic Medicine and was immediately enthralled.
I attended 4 years of Naturopathic Medical school at National University of Health Sciences, one of 7 accredited schools for naturopathic medicine. After graduating I worked mainly with homeopathy and am now using many of my naturopathic tools for my patients from conception to advanced age. I see patients in all stages of their health journey whether general wellness, acute illness, or chronic disease.
In my free time I enjoy spending time outside hiking, biking, playing soccer or tennis. I also enjoy cooking and continuing to learn how to prepare a variety of foods.
