My name is Alex. I grew up in a small town in Iowa. I live at home with my 2 Siberian Huskies (Apollo & Spartacus). I played football, soccer and ran track in high school and a little in college. I found a passion early on for sports and fell in love with the process and preparation it takes to be great on and off the field. It took me awhile to realize what I wanted to do with my life after years in the retail business. I would always go back to sports and fitness! That is where I found my true calling and when I decided what I wanted to pursue for the rest of my life.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from the University of Iowa. I am an also a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, NASM Nutrition Coach, NSCA Strength and Conditioning Certified, ISSA Speed and Agility, Level 2 Precision Nutrition Certified and CPR/BLS certified. I am also a strength and conditioning coach where I also coach high school football and soccer.
I've spent several years learning and implementing strategies and techniques that produce long lasting results that will leave you with physical and mental well being.
I use the techniques and skills I have acquired over the last several years to build great relationships with my clients and long lasting results. I set realistic goals and implement a detailed plan to achieve the results my clients desire.
I am not a fan of the overly excited or hyped up personal trainers. I like to train my clients by teaching them proper techniques and pushing them to meet and exceed their goals. I know that working out can be challenging and overwhelming but I take that part out of your hands. I like to approach each client with a nice easy transition while teaching them the basics to strength training.
