Lindsay Schweizer

Hi there, thanks for being here!
I am a Mindful Nutrition Coach whose passion is teaching others how to feel amazing in their bodies and truly enjoy their lives by eating delicious and nutritious food!

I am a certified Health Coach and Personal Trainer from the American Council on Exercise (ACE) with specialities in Fitness Nutrition and Weight Management. I earned my bachelor's degree in kinesiology from Cal State University, Northridge, and am currently working on my master's degree in human nutrition and functional medicine from the University of Western States (I'll be graduating at the end of 2023!)

Prior to starting my own health and nutrition coaching business, I worked in a weight loss center for 4 years, working with and coaching people of all ages (15-85 years old), backgrounds, and medical histories lose weight. While I learned so much about the benefits of making small, realistic lifestyle changes that can add up to substantial and long-lasting progress, I also learned that weight loss and diets are NEVER "one-size-fits-all". With so much conflicting evidence and information out there, the health and wellness space can get very complicated, which is why I believe so many people still struggle with overweight, obesity, and chronic disease.

Through my personal and professional experience, in addition to the MANY training and education courses I've completed, I've learned so much & become so passionate about how to use food to nourish and heal our bodies, as well as how to heal our relationships with food (which for many of us, thanks to diet culture, is toxic). I like to combine nutrition education, mindfulness, and behavior change to help my clients make genuine and sustainable progress toward their goals.

Ultimately, my goals with all of my clients are to:
1. Educate them on general, science-backed nutrition information
2. Teach them how to prep, cook, live, and eat in a healthy way WITHOUT dieting or restriction
3. Learn how to make healthy food easy, effortless, enjoyable and delicious!
4. Find a way of eating that allows them to feel their best from the inside out while truly enjoying their life!
