 At 46 years young and mama of three, my whole life changed.  After years of struggling with anorexia and body issues I found myself completely freaking out about enter perimenopause. What changes would my body go through? Would I experience symptoms? Would I be an emotional roller coaster?  Would I sleep? I had so many questions and so I enrolled myself into IIN ( Integrative Institute of Nutrition) and as I explored my own questions and my own healing journey, I found my true passion; educating, motivating and inspiring other mid life women to make the changes necessary to enter this new chapter of life with energy, vitality and the mind set to match.  I graduated IIN as a certified Health and Wellness Coach.
   With a life long love of fitness and nutrition, I took my education one step further and became a NASM certified personal trainer and nutrition coach.  I deeply believe food is medicine.  When it comes to nutrition, gut health is a number one priority.  Incorporating hormone balancing foods, learning the best strategies for weight loss and how to optimize food for our changing bodies is pivotal for this time in our lives.  Incorporating walking and strength raining for mobility and functionality for day to day life instead of chasing the cardio burn became my new best friend!
     Through mind set shifting, gut health, nutrition, stress management, fitness and hacks for better sleep, I can truly say at 49 I have never been more strong, had more energy, slept better, been able to manage day to day stress easier and had a better relationship with food.  I cannot wait to embark on your journey as we nourish your mind, body and spirit and create the most optimal YOU!
