Dr. Rayna Katz is a board certified Naturopathic Doctor and Licensed Acupuncturist and brings a wealth of knowledge in healing traditions including Naturopathic Medicine, Traditional Chinese Medicine, nutrition, and living in accordance with nature. Dr. Katz's main focus is to equip her patients with the education and tools they need to live conscious lifestyles, maintain body awareness, and develop holistic relationships with their health and the world around us.
Born and raised in Arizona, Dr. Katz received her Bachelor's of Science in Nutrition with a didactic emphasis is Dietetics from the University of Arizona. Her training included studying abroad in Verona, Italy, working as a recipe developer for published magazines, initiating farmers market's, and teaching cooking classes to the local community.
A personal experience with healing through a combination of naturopathic and acupuncture treatments was the light that guided Dr. Katz to pursue further training in these modalities to deeply support others throughout their health journies. Dr. Katz's love for natural medicine and treating the body as a whole led her to move to the PNW and receive her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine and Masters of Acupuncture from Bastyr University. Dr. Katz loves seeing the whole family but specializes and focuses on fertility, conception care, GI disorders, mental health, environmental medicine, pediatrics, and chronic illnesses.
Dr. Katz uses a myriad of treatment modalities including acupuncture, herbal medicine, homeopathy, hydrotherapy, nutrition, and counseling. Dr. Katz's goal of assisting others expands well beyond the physical aspects of health and she focuses on all aspects of each person including mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual health to design creative individualized treatment plans.
Dr. Katz's main goal is to find the missing light in people's lives, whether that pertains to medicine or not. She is dedicated to teach and encourage others to get back to the basics of living and create awareness of how we are living our lives and interacting with each other.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Katz is an artist and tries to embrace her creativity in all ways. She creates artwork, develops and offers custom cooking classes with original recipes, culinary skills, and imparts nutritional knowledge, and tries to explore the great outdoors as often as she can. During her free time, she enjoys reading, walking her dog, Chad, spending time with family, community, and connecting with her spirituality and nature.
