Nathalie Heimbrock is a Nutrition Therapist Master (NTM) and the founder of Nutritional Enlightenment. She has a B.A. from Saint Edward’s University in Austin, Texas, and an N.T.M. certification from the Nutrition Therapy Institute in Arvada, Colorado. With over two years of formal nutrition education, Nathalie has the ability to make a lasting impact on her clients. Based out of Manhattan, she runs a virtual nutrition practice, consulting clients worldwide via Zoom.
Nathalie is deeply passionate about nutrition and the healing power of food. Bio-individuality matters, and nutritional therapy is not a one-size-fits-all approach. In order to achieve optimal wellness, one must dig deep and discover the root cause of their health challenges; then they must devise an individualized nutrition plan. As a nutrition therapist, Nathalie’s specialty is translating nutrition science into digestible content that leaves her clients with long-lasting impressions.
What sets her apart: Through deep empathy, connecting with clients, and using a holistic approach, Nathalie does what modern medicine doesn’t—she listens.
Nutrition therapy is more than just managing symptoms. Nathalie looks at the interactions between the environment of an individual and their entire system, with a focus on diet, stress, and gastrointestinal health. Our entire bodies are connected. If one system falls out of balance, it’s likely that other systems within the body will also fall out of place. Everyone deserves to be disease-free, in optimal health, and living their lives to the fullest.
The amount of information on nutrition and health can be overwhelming—particularly when you factor in the amount of false, harmful information in circulation found via Google searches and social media. There is great value in working one-on-one with a trained professional who supports you and takes you step-by-step to achieve your health goals. This removes the guesswork and enables you to achieve your health goals much more quickly.
Nathalie takes a holistic approach to your health, combining the latest in nutrition science with personalized, functional nutrition and lifestyle care. She will review and analyze symptoms, health history, current diet, lifestyle, available lab reports, and other health information. From there, we will develop a detailed health plan for you. This plan often, but not always, includes diet, nutritional or herbal supplements, and lifestyle modifications. We will develop your health plan together so that you’re ready, willing, and able to incorporate the plan into your life.
