If you are someone who has a beloved furry friend that has health issues, then I would love to help. I have been working with animals for most of my life and definitely consider them a big part of my family.
When I was younger, I trained with a vet and loved it so much that I considered going to veterinary school. I ultimately decided against that and went the nutrition route instead. But, during my Master of Nutrition degree program, I worked with animals at our state science museum for my internship. My job was to figure out the root cause of specific health issues that certain species continually had and see if I could fix them with dietary and lifestyle changes. I not only loved the challenge, but was thrilled to assist the museum with their animals by creating a healthier and longer life for them.
Once I started my business after grad school, I continued to work with animals, as well as humans, in the nutritional health space.
To date, I've worked with many dogs and cats that have had significant health challenges to help either reduce or eliminate the symptoms. The most common issues that I regularly deal with include:
• Type II Diabetes
• Kidney Disease
• Epilepsy
• Cancer
• Arthritis
• Allergies
• Food Intolerances
• Anxiety
While these might be the most common, each furry friend is unique and therefore, they have their own unique story and issues. The goal of this assessment is to get to the root cause of what is going on and see what modifications can be made to help your animal get their health back so that they can enjoy their lives as long as possible and bring joy to yours.
