My goal is to learn about you, your goals, and understand how food and eating fits into those goals for your life. I am an experienced Culinary Nutritionist, blending actual cooking applications to healthy eating.
I believe a balanced lifestyle and balanced diet go hand in hand. In order to reach our personal goals, we have to use an interdisciplinary approach. I've found that often the major factors inhibiting us from reaching our goals are our own mental knots. My hope is to work through those knots with you, ask questions, and find a pathway to a healthier mindset and lifestyle.
So where does food come in? My philosophy is, "Try all foods. Savor the flavor. Eat what tastes good." I love playing with food and flavor. Much of my work has been around developing healthy recipes that taste delicious. In our sessions, I would work with your palette and cooking level to develop tailored recipes for you that fit your eating goals.
Your first session with me might look something like this:
20-30 min - Introductions and understanding your goals
15-20 min - Medical and lifestyle history and investigation into barriers to progress
15 min - Discuss possible techniques and interventions to get you closer to achieving your goals
