Tailored therapeutic yoga practices to manage and alleviate chronic pain conditions.
The poses are sensitive and supportive to past trauma, being held in the body, and possible emotions arising during practice.

Why Book With Me?
-From my history in the health, wellness, and psychology industry, I am able to build your
yoga therapy program from a variety of perspectives.
-I have experience in wellness coaching and program creation, allowing me to create
personalized programs that flow well and are easy to understand.
-From my degrees in psychology, I understand how trauma operates and demonstrates in
the body, enabling my yoga therapy sessions to be trauma-sensitive, as certain yoga
poses can bring up emotions, such as hip-opening poses.
-We will also be able to discuss these aspects together so that you can better understand
how your chronic pain connects with your stress, emotions, and trauma.
-I am trained in motivational interviewing and can motivate you towards healing your
chronic pain.
-A non-judgemental space: I am LGBTQ+, low SES, and minority friendly. When booking with me you can expect to feel safe discussing any taboo or “embarrassing” topics with me.
How each session will flow:
- 10 - 15 minutes In each meeting we will begin with going over how you are feeling about what we discussed during the previous sessions and how you are feeling with your pain and stress levels during and after each yoga session. You can let me know how you are feeling about the program so far, what you are struggling with, and what is going smoothly.
- 40 minutes For the next part of the session, we will work together to update your current yoga program from your reactions and feelings. I will then add on to the previous teachings and advice with new skills and poses that build on the previous meeting. We will take some time to discuss together how to do each pose and how best to connect them. I will explain how each pose will help your chronic pain and how it fits with your goals.
- 5 - 10 minutes For the last part of the session, we will do an overview of what we spoke about and the upcoming "homework". We will then take a moment to schedule our next meeting.
Program Specifics:
This package is built to offer you a daily practice that you can utilize on your own throughout and following the end of our sessions. A practice that you understand and can adjust according to your current pain. I want to offer a practice that can be continued by you so that you have the ability to help heal your chronic pain on your own following this package. If you would like a more relaxed approach, I recommend that you book an additional yoga package with me, or we can lengthen the sessions, where I also lead you completely in the 60 minute yoga for chronic pain session. We can discuss this during the discovery call or at any point throughout the program.
