Reiki is a beautiful form of energy healing derived from the Japanese words rei meaning universal and ki meaning life force energy. It’s a non-invasive healing technique where a certified Reiki Practitioner channels Universal Life Force Energy through themselves and into their recipient. One of the many incredible aspects of reiki is that it’s not constrained by time or space because we are all connected at a quantum molecular level. Therefore, a distant healing session is just as affective as an in-person session, and you never have to leave your home! Because intention is energy, I’m able to perform distant healing sessions wherever you are in the world, as long as you’re open to receiving it.
A Typical 60 min Reiki Session will (Loosely) Include:
- 10 mins of introduction, discussing your intentions for the healing, and time to answer any questions you may have
- 5 mins of guided meditation to settle your mind and prepare your body to receive the healing
- 30 mins of receiving the reiki energy healing
- 15 mins of checking in, recapping what came through during the healing, and brainstorming your next steps moving forward
Please Note: This is your time! If you’d prefer no talking and to simply receive the healing and be on your way, just let me know that when our session starts and we’ll jump right into the meditation and reiki energy healing, removing the allotted times for discussion.
Credentials: I am a certified Usui Reiki Master & Shamanic Reiki Level II Practitioner with training on Craniosacral Therapy healing methods & Chakra Alignment. I am also a certified Medium and Sound Healer and use Sound Therapy in my energy healing sessions. I’m able to empathetically feel what you’re feeling to help discern what your healing will entail. I use a combination of my own intuition and guidance from my spirit team to offer you the highest level of healing to bring you towards energetic balance and soul alignment. I am also open to receiving messages and assistance from Spirit throughout your session and will relay any info to you after your session, with your permission.
Before Your Healing
Set up your space wherever you’re most comfortable and free from distractions. Perhaps you’d like to sit outside under your favorite tree, inside where you enjoy meditating, or even lying down on your couch or bed (just try to keep your back straight - this allows for efficient energy flow through your body). Feel free to light a candle or incense, surround yourself with your favorite crystals, and/or set your own intentions for the healing session.
During Your Healing
At the time of your distant healing session, we'll connect over Zoom, introduce ourselves, and have ten minutes to connect with each other and discuss what your intentions are for your healing (if any). I'll guide you into a state of relaxation, have you close your eyes and take a few slow, deep breaths. All you need to do on your end is be open to receiving the energy healing. It’s important that you come into your session without any expectations and with an open mind: reiki affects everyone differently. You may experience tingly sensations throughout your body, an urge to cough, laugh, or cry, pressure around certain chakras, be overcome with great peace and relaxation, or you may feel nothing! These are all normal and okay, trust that what’s happening is for your highest good and your unique body’s way of releasing any stuck energy that no longer serves you. Also, if you end up falling asleep during the session, that’s okay! It simply means that rest and relaxation is what you needed most in that moment (it won’t affect the healing). Sometimes it’s best for us to have our conscious minds turned off and unconscious minds tuned in to best receive a healing.
After Your Healing
After your session, we'll have fifteen minutes to chat about what came up for yourself along with anything that I may have noticed on my end and any messages that came through from spirit. This is a time for us to plan your next steps moving forward and I am available to answer any questions you may have.
When your scheduled time has passed, intuitively listen to your body about what it needs. Be sure to drink plenty of water as this is important when energy movement has taken place. If any thoughts came up during your session, take some time to write them down and reflect. Again, reiki affects everyone differently. Trust that however you’re feeling is for your highest good. You may leave your session feeling energized, extremely calm and relaxed, or indifferent. It’s important for me to note that you will experience a spiritual detox to some degree, during and/or after your session. Similar to a physical detox, this means you may feel not-so-great before feeling really great. It’s simply your body’s way of releasing all that no longer serves you. Sometimes to release, you need to feel/experience the emotion once more as the energy leaves your body.
