Our emotions are indicators of the greatest need we have from deep within. When engaged with in a conscious and owned manner, they can be incredible tools to help us understand who we are and meet our needs accordingly. No emotion just happens out of nowhere. There's a story behind. I will help you consciously navigate what that is through deep presence, consciousness, and mindfulness, which will allow us to consciously engage with your emotions in a more loving and empowered way. Instead of becoming overwhelmed or overburdened by your emotions, I can help you utilize your very emotions to become your place of empowerment. Where there's a conscious awareness, there's always a way!
I will be applying techniques from talk therapy, where I'll first and foremost listen to your concerns and get to know you on a deep, compassionate, and empathetic level, and help you master engaging and understanding your own emotions in a healthy, conscious, and loving way. I'll help you learn how to be patiently present with your emotions (without creating a story), and create space so that you can naturally see your emotions for what they are and transform yourself. Not only will that help you own your emotions, it will rewire your understanding of your emotions and allow you to connect with yourself in a more deep and profound way. Moreover, as you become more comfortable with the practice and the tools I provide you with in the session, you will be able to feel more in charge of yourself and connect and engage with your emotions with more ease and authority.
Depending on where your emotions are stemming from (or what's triggering them, such as relationships, current world events, job-related situations etc.), I will be able to apply different concepts and techniques from psychodynamics, psychoanalysis, cognitive behavioral therapy, and cognitive mindfulness behavioral therapy to help you heal your deeply seated emotional state of being, wound, conditioning, and belief system. We can explore child/parent relationship or childhood experience to see if there's a connection between current emotional health and upbringing to bring a lasting and profound healing and transformation.
