We will be exploring the systematic process of mindfulness through eating. We will start with self observation, tuning into the feelings of the body. Next, self-inquiry where we will ask specific questions around the topics of food and eating. Finally, we will take mindful action, partaking in conscious food consumption with the aid of our miraculous five senses. You will have the opportunity to create your own personalized eating ritual to help you establish a more intentional relationship to the food that fuels your body. Be sure to have food accessible for this session. This is an interactive and educational session that will be an hour in length.
This is for you if:
-You struggle with overeating and/or weight loss
-You want to improve digestion
-You want to identify gut irritating foods
-You want to change your approach to how and what you eat
-You want to improve your relationship with food
-You want to deepen your awareness of your body
-You want to learn about mindfulness
When applying mindfulness to eating, we develop a better understanding of the body, it’s signals, and what it actually needs. Eating is one of the most emotional experiences we do on a daily basis, so if there’s anytime to practice mindfulness it’s while eating. Because hunger is not just a signal of the stomach. Our hearts, our eyes, our mouths, our ears, and our minds can be hungry too. Food is not always what we need to truly satiate ourselves. Join me in exploring the art of mindful eating.
