Communication and Conversation are cornerstones of society. They fuel our interactions with and between ourselves and others. And not all the time, but a lot of the time we enjoy interacting. Some of us more than others. Some of us flourish in social settings, others are better communicators at work or better with self-communication.
These sessions are a chance to look at YOUR communication as a couple and with yourself within that coupling. We'll explore love languages and needs, "I" statements, healthier self-talk, assumptions in the relationship, how to disengage from a fight, and boundaries. We will also explore how to engage in healthy venting and how to communicate which of the 3 types of venting you need to engage in (soundboarding, [emotional processing with another], idea exploration [asking for advice], or emotional dumping).
The goal is to ultimately have a positive impact and improve your communication with yourself and with your partner(s).
