Reiki was founded in Japan at the beginning of the 20th century. It was expanded upon by Dr. Mikao Usui, who is often credited with founding the modern practice of Reiki.
What is a Reiki session and what is the benefits of it? A Reiki session is a form of energy lightwork/healing that in which the main goal is to promote peacefulness, reduce anxiety, and reinforce overall well-being. Reiki offers a variety of potential benefits, which can vary from person to person.

Energy work is work on the body so I will advise drinking lots of water or grounding (which is simple either taking a bath, going for a walk in nature, or breathwork) after every session.
