Healthy Micro-Habit Formation with Rori

One of the highest selling book categories in our world today are self help books. Within that category- How many of those deal with poor habits, healthy habits, and habit formation in general? It's a lot! Most of us by the time we hit adulthood understand that our habits helped to make us who we, how successful we are, how we feel about ourselves, and can be incredibly hard to change.
But there has to be a way- Right?
Right!!
We start small. In this session you will likely already have something in mind that you would like to kick- it could be as simple as scrolling social media before bed, or eating too many cookies at the end of the day. What about smoking cessation or wanting to learn to control your alcohol intake? Those are habits too, and every habit originates somewhere inside of us. We will dive into the formation of that unhealthy habit and seek to unravel it through positive, healthy micro habit change.
How do we do this?
Have you ever tried to change a habit like smoking, or eating a pint of ice cream every night- all at once? It's hard! And often that change does not last, because we have not found the root cause of the habit and we have not taken the time to replace it with new good things. We use root cause analysis to understand where the habit has come from- and why we hold onto it so tightly. Then we will work on a "prescription" together for micro habit modifications that will help to ease the old habit out and new one into its place in way that is sustainable.
Change can be accomplished for some in just one session- But most often more sessions will be required, especially for larger , more difficult habits.
