In 2014 I opened my business, Total Transformation and began my career as a personal trainer and fitness class instructor. However, it didn't take me very long to realize that establishing a consistent and effective fitness and exercise routine was much more complicated than simply designing a workout plan. We are multi-faceted beings and our emotional, financial, intellectual, spiritual, social, occupational, environmental, and physical health all contribute to our ability to successfully establish healthy habits. I expanded my knowledge and also became a health coach with the intension of being better equipped to approach fitness and exercise from a multi-dimensional point of view. Foundations is an eight-week program that will walk you through creating a vision for your life, looking at your life from a multi-dimensional perspective, establishing long-term goals, and then breaking them down into daily, achievable actions that will put you on the path to achieving those goals. Whether you are looking to improve your career, health and fitness, relationships, spirituality, financial stability, or emotional well-being, a developing a solid foundation will give you the strength to overcome any barrier that stands in your way. Foundations will help you increase your self-confidence and self-love. It will challenge you with new patterns of thinking and help you develop a growth mindset that focuses on the positive. you will learn to use your strengths to build a solid foundation for change that will enable you to achieve anything you set your mind to. You will begin to see how each area of your life is intricately intertwined with the next and the benefits of approaching wellness from a holistic point of view. You will begin to identify specific behaviors you wish to change, barriers to success, and solutions to overcoming obstacles. your behavior will become more consistent and stable, and when barriers present themselves you will gain the tools necessary to simply refocus and move forward without losing your balance. You will be able to effectively adapt and self-manage anything that life throws at you. You will learn strategies to keep yourself accountable, self-monitor, improve discipline, and increase your motivation. Foundations is not a workout plan, a diet, or a weight-loss plan. It is not a pill or a quick fix gimmick. It is instead an overall wellness program that is based on building a solid foundation, taking into account each of the eight dimension of wellness.
