Hearing you have less-than-optimal cholesterol levels can be daunting, but I'm here to help!
Acquired Hyperlipidemia is a common condition that's actually pretty simple: You want to make the LDL number go down and the HDL number go up so your cells function as they're meant to. High LDLs can lead to cardiovascular issues, including life-threatening events like heart attacks and strokes, so it's best to treat it early and keep and eye on it. When your cholesterol is abnormal, other body systems suffer. You're more tired, you're at higher risk of cardiovascular injury, and your liver is working overtime.
In this session, we'll go over your lab results and I'll briefly explain what's going on with your body. We'll then talk about possible solutions to help bring your cholesterol levels back to normal.
During the hour, you will receive the following:
-Nutritional guidance tailored toward lowering LDLs while boosting HDLs
-Supplemental guidance with specific recommendations
-Exercise/Physical activity guidance
-Answers to questions about your condition
If you have recent labs with abnormal cholesterol values, let's help you get back on track! Ready to reduce or discontinue your cholesterol medication? Let's make it happen!
