Honestly, we deal with a great deal of weight on our shoulders. We're in the workforce, taking care of our families, taking care of the household needs...it is a lot to deal with. It gets to a point where we tend to lose our sense of selves to take care of others. It's time to start putting our health first in order to be the best version of ourselves. Diabetes, Hypertension, Anxiety/Depression, Fertility Issues such as PCOS/Endometriosis, Lupus, Hormonal Imbalance, MS, Cancer, and Weight Fluctuations are some of the things we tackle when it comes to our health.
It is on the rapid decline. Did you know that our diets is a huge part of that reason? I know it definitely was a factor when I had a brush with mental health issues. Anxiety, Stress, Depression, ADHD, Autism, and Dementia are some of the mental health conditions that we face today.
This is a big one. So many want to lose weight or gain muscle but do not know their individual needs on how to accomplish one or the other. We follow these fad diets, but do not realize that they might not work for our individual bodies and that these are SHORT-TERM solutions...that could have long-term consequences.
I started eating plant-based/vegan in January of 2021 and it was one of the best decisions I've ever made. Although none of my meal plans are vegan, I can accommodate those who are interested in learning how to eat more plant-based. Many are wanting to eat less meat and incorporating more plants in their diets, but don't know how or where to start. That's where I come in.
