Sleep Soundly: Create a Plan that Works with Martha Kester

This is an in depth journey to building healthy habits around sleep that will last a lifetime by developing a plan that fits your unique needs and goals. This package includes a free 30-45 minute consult. During the first session, we will discuss your vision, strengths and life's purpose. We will get to your why for wanting change and then set goals and an action plan. This session will end with you having 1-3 action steps to work on during the time we are not together (as all the sessions will end this way). We will meet via Zoom every other week for about 60 minutes. Each session will start with you highlighting what is going well. Each session is client driven as the client is the expert of his or her own body. Possible topics during these sessions can be around setting up a bedtime routine, a sleep environment that is conducive to sleep, eating healthy, including daily exercise and reducing stress.

Adopting new, healthier habits around sleep may protect you from serious health problems like obesity, diabetes and Alzheimer's. Getting plenty of sleep can not only have a positive impact on your health but also on your mood, relationships and career.

Martha has over 5 years of experience with helping people learn to sleep again. In 2017, she became a certified health coach and in 2020, she passed the boards.

Not only is Martha a coach, but she is also a certified yoga instructor and has been teaching since 2011. When she is not coaching, she can be found running, lifting weights, teaching or taking yoga, being an aunt, hanging with her husband, cooking or playing on the water. She lives in Beaufort, SC, where she was born and raised. Her passion for wellness started in college and gradually grew and grew over the years. She has dealt with many health issues from depression to massive weight loss and gain, hypoglycemia, food anxiety, athletic bulimia, sleep deprivation and now hoshimotos. These experiences help me to relate to my clients and have even more compassion for them. I love helping people because I know personally that not feeling good doesn't feel good and can impact so many aspects of life.
