Introduction to Plant Based Nutrition with Ellen Claire

This session will cover an introduction to plant-based nutrition for individuals who are interested in making lifestyle changes. We will discuss your current dietary habits and lifestyle as well as the goals that you have for yourself. This session could also be for those who are familiar with plant-based nutrition but need some guidance in nutrition.

We will discuss in detail how to properly structure/plan your meals to optimize your nutrition. We will cover protein, fat, and carbohydrate intake as well as how to incorporate supplements if that is something you are wanting to include. While I do not provide a meal plan specifically, I do provide resources for recipes and a shopping list.

A properly planned plant-based diet can provide more than enough nutrition to fuel you and create healthier habits. With cardiovascular disease on the rise, it is important to make lifestyle changes for the prevention of chronic disease.

I have 10+ years of personal experience with a plant-based diet through two pregnancies as well as breastfeeding. I try to lead an active lifestyle incorporating a variety of activities including running, indoor cycling, and strength training. I pride myself on providing client-centered care and giving you the most accurate and up-to-date information possible. I look forward to working with you!
